Why Isn't Your Facebook Group Growing?
Let's face it: when it comes to online marketing, particularly social media marketing, many firms simply miss the mark.

If you have a Facebook group but it hasn't progressed or isn't seeing much activity, you may fall into this category. Continue reading to find out what you're doing wrong and how to fix it.

Make a Case

Too many businesses assume that the best approach to advertise themselves is to create a dull and uninteresting brand and then brag about how fantastic they are on social media. Do you believe I'm joking or exaggerating? Consider the amount of organizations with blue and white logos that are just text, ambiguous names like 'VexSoft,' and vague descriptions of what they do ("empowering individuality, teamwork, and synergy in all sectors!").

There is just no incentive or emotional pull for people to join a Facebook group run by a company like this. People become members of organizations because they believe in a brand and want to support it/learn more about it. Who will want to hear more from you if your brand is just "generic business"? Don't be so cautious: recognize who you're speaking with and exhibit some personality.

Adding Value

These same businesses frequently have Twitter accounts, Facebook pages, and Facebook groups where they just publish generic remarks about themselves:

"VexSoft creates the industry's best financial monitoring software!"

"Have you had a look at our new accounting tools?"

Things like this add no value to the user, don't inspire conversation, and just don't make any sense. Would you want to be a part of a group that accomplished this? Or would you make a hasty exit?

Maintain Consistency

Finally, failing to remain consistent is one of the most prevalent mistakes made by firms. They'll form a Facebook group and then neglect to post in it for months. This means that when someone joins the group for the first time, they will assume it has been abandoned or that the firm isn't intriguing enough to warrant their attention. That isn't exactly motivating folks to sign up on their own!

As a result, you should make sure that you're not just publishing good content, but that you're also posting frequently enough that your group appears to be buzzing.
