Visionary Entrepreneurs' Top Characteristics
What does it take to start a business?

Furthermore, what does it take to be a genuinely visionary entrepreneur with a concept that truly shifts paradigms and improves the world?

Who you ask will determine the answer. However, there are a few points on which most people will agree are critical...

Fearless

When launching a new concept, there is always a risk associated. Even if your concept isn't financially risky, you're still putting yourself out there, and there's a danger it won't sell or that it'll be laughed out of the room. You must have a thick skin and be willing to fail.

Resilient

The willingness to get back up after failing is much more crucial than the desire to fail. Almost every successful entrepreneur will fail several times before finally succeeding, but it is because they never give up that they succeed. You just have to be successful once.

Inventive

It should go without saying that an entrepreneur must be creative. They must be able to recognize opportunities and provide novel ideas that others may overlook. To some extent, this is something you are born with (or not), but there are things you can do to push yourself to be more creative in your thinking.

Old

To be a successful trait, you don't have to be ancient. But I wanted to include it only to emphasize a point: you don't have to be 'cool and young' to start a successful business. In fact, the majority of successful firms are founded by persons in their forties and fifties. So, just because you're not in your twenties, don't rule yourself out of the race!

Team Members

Another fallacy is that the entrepreneur is a one-man show who works alone. In actuality, entrepreneurs nearly always surround themselves with good teams, and some of their success can be attributed to this.

Passionate

The ability to be enthusiastic is perhaps the most important attribute of all. If you don't believe in your product or service and aren't ecstatic about it, you won't have the motivation to see it through to the end. Furthermore, you will not be able to persuade others and get them interested about it.

Because excitement is contagious, don't commit to anything that you find boring or uninteresting.
