The Facebook Groups Go-To-Market Strategy
The expression 'go to market' may be familiar to marketers. It's simply a marketing strategy that entails determining precisely who your product or service's target audience is, determining where they spend their time, and then making advertisements and postings that those people will see. If you were selling gardening tools, for example, you might decide that your target audience is gardeners and place an ad in 'Gardener's World' magazine.

As a result, your goods will now be seen by a large number of people who are inclined to buy from you. Of course, this can result in a large number of sales.

What's the best way to do this on the internet? Using social sharing platforms and social networks is one method. Popular choices include groups and subreddits. Find the correct subreddit for your issue and share a post there; if it is shared and upvoted enough times, that post can be seen by hundreds of thousands of people, potentially resulting in a large number of purchases.

Unfortunately, this isn't always the case. What is more likely is that you will share your post on a subreddit and it will be buried at the bottom. Why? Because it isn't a perfect fit for that particular community. Worse, it could be taken entirely from the site, and you could be banned from that community! When you share something that is plainly self-promotional, the vast majority of online communities dislike it.

That is why it is so important to think about starting your own social group. When you do this, you can first narrow down the things you'll be discussing. You might want to start a discussion group on the specific niche you'll be selling to. Because you made sure the group would target the precise correct people, these folks are likely to be interested in what you have to offer!

You are the owner at the same time, which means you have the 'last say' on the type of content that can be shared there. No one can say that anything you submitted was inappropriate, therefore you can rest assured that your content will not be removed.

Create a tiny Facebook group for the issue you're interested in, invite people, and then let it grow on its own. Then, when you're ready, promote your product or service on social media!
